PS–I had already finished this post, published it, shared the nominations with bloggers; all from the comforts of my cell phone and iPad–HOWEVER, as my flourishing relationship with computers and “Murphy” (..that b(*****d!) for some reason, my comp’s didn’t sync, and this posts original form itself was lost.  Sorry if you return to accept your award and their are missing comments, shares or posts. This is just another glimpse into my messed up blog world LOL!

A Simple Write

20130718-144632.jpg

After weeks and months of trying this blogging thing out for the first time, I have come to a few conclusions. This post does not have a hidden lesson, or moral of the story, its just a post about my personal experience with my own blog.

I cannot write well. Writing from personal experience, is nothing like speaking from experience; as I have done in my past. I can stand up in a room filled with all of my readers, other bloggers, and strangers and do an excellent job sharing my words of wisdom for you all to hear. On any given topic that I know well, do it confidently, and I might even get a few laughs.

But, writing? from my own personal experience?
I cannot seem to chose from one subject or one experience, and produce a readable version of the event! I cannot put to paper how I remember it from my head! I don’t know why. I have been diligently trying to figure the answer out behind the scenes for months now, reading, re-reading, drafting, posting; there is no other answer accept that I am afraid of the outcome. I am afraid of how my works appear and how they will be received by all. Most of the time, my writing a real ‘good’ post stems from days of high stress, disorganization, yelling, and taking it all too personally. Especially since taking the Orange Rhino Challenge, LOL I have no way to complete the writing process with yelling anymore! ;) (thankfully!)

This all came about a few months ago. I found myself spending enormous amounts of time on my other website, design and architecture related (past work experience). All of a sudden, I realized I was getting grouchy, longing, and impatient with the kids and immediately thought of how much ‘computer time I was losing’. That’s when it hit me. I wasn’t spending time on the computer for love and enjoyment anymore, it was out of necessity. Something had to give.

After 3 days of no writing at all, missing article deadlines, and some time talking with God; we realized the missing element. My purpose for writing had become (more) self-centered than not. I am already getting too long so I’m not going to explain selfishness, we’re all plagued with it.

“Helping Others”that’s it. That is the missing element. Currently now I have some new plans for my other blog/sites which have shifted their sole purpose into helping others! Yes! Even in the design, architecture, and mommy world. I readdressed the whole helping others and made a firm decision: if my time on the computer wasn’t directed at helping others, I am no longer going to do it. Not to gain likes, followers, blogger awards, (not that I don’t appreciate those;) and recognition.

Here’s how I am not writing for an ‘audience’ anymore. I will be sharing from the depths of my complete honest experiences. If I find inspiration, I will write on it. In that moment. Not after I’ve had an edit opportunity. I will write from fresh from the moment. The intention is to be inspirational, real, honest, but mainly to help others. I will put the new perception into ‘action’ here on j9sopinion.com. I am helping someone great! If not, that’s great too because it is still helping me to remain connected, with my experience regardless.

Long term goal is to look back a while from now, and see the experiences change and the writing strength grow. I will use this post, from the past to not get caught up in numbers again. I will use this post for the off days in writing.

As always, I thank you all for stopping by and sticking around til the end. I look forward to many stories to relate to between us.
The easy way for me to communicate lol: CHECK Out what we’re up to while we’re gone on INSTAGRAM<<Link<< in photos lol.

Many Blessings,
JayNine xoxo (…that’s my pinterest link for all you wanting to see what else goes on in this head lol…)

Your WordPress Family Award

Time for a simple fresh “WordPress Award”. A blogger buddy of mine here on WordPress, has appointed me as a receiver of this little award, with big meaning. “The WordPress Family Award” A badge, photo, title, position, I have been gifted; and honorably accept, to forward and ‘appoint-nominate’ you!

Introduce you the Creator and the award nominator: “Praying For One Day” is a blog by (About) Shaun who posts about his daily struggles with his normal life, followed around by his 2nd shadow, chronic pain. STILL, he’s a very present Father of 4 beautifully different children. Shaun offers us a glimpse into his world, his space, sense of humor, candor, trials, tribulations, lessons and successes. I find his posts, witty, interesting, some down right funny, heart-felt, purely honest; and definitely inspirational and encouraging. We each comment words of support, on each others posts and even when we’re not, I know he’s there.

20130630-095344.jpg

The essence of the WordPress Family Award, is just that:
*FAMILY*
I know I can count on Shaun, and the people, behind the blogs I am about to list, as I can count on like my own family. I can even count on (and appreciate) some folks here, than some of my ‘real’ family members. WordPress, it’s bloggers, my follows, followers; and even the random comment-er have and can, lift my spirits, encourage me to go forward, inspire me to create, to understand, encourage me, teach me; to laugh, alot, to shift my (messed up contorted and twisted) perception, lighten my heart, my load; and help me continue to fight through the toughest of times (and circumstances)!

Go Ahead! It’s simple!
Here’s What To Do.

1. Display the Award logo on your blog.
2. Link back to the person who nominated you.
3. Nominate 10 others you see as
having an impact on your wordpress experience and family.
4. Let your 10 Family members know you have awarded them.
5. That is it. Just please pick 10 people that have taken
you as a friend, and spread the love.

Drum roll please * * * MY “WordPress Family Award” Members Are: (in random order)

4. ‘Mummy Flying Solo’ the very first find of a ‘single’ mother blog here on WordPress! Supportive, encouraging, and very understanding, bright blogger.

5. ‘IHaveAnOpinionIdLikeToShare’ a candid look into the truths that some are afraid to share (some seem straight from my brain!) No One can hit the nail on the head, on the most serious and difficult to say words, on any topic; and with more skillfully, funny, honest, precise, expressions. I long to write as clearly as this woman does!

6. ‘The Adventures of Miss Fanny P’ talented writer, mommy, supportive, honest; also a part of the
Orange Rhino Challenge

8. ‘Cranky Caregiver’ because,EVERYONE needs a ‘Granny’ in life!
I love this one!

9. ‘White Lady in the Hood’ well, you can just imagine the humor from this child-expert, blogger, inspirational laughter; just from the title of her blog lmao

10. ‘Normal is the New Boring’ Fantastic Mommy with a preemie, their trials, successes, and honest shares about their experiences in life now.

Through the communications I have had with the people behind these blogs, I feel I have created a family here. A support system that can be relied on! I have experiences on many other blogs, blog hosts, social media places, (click here to find me, literally everywhere) but, the audience quality here is just different. I get a sense of belonging, fitting in, acceptance, empathy, understanding, and family here. If I had the perfect family out here, it would include each and ever one of you, above. You all have a special place in my thoughts and heart.

And, just another mention to the wonderful ‘random (supportive) commenters’ : I haven’t experienced on the net responses quite like yours. Supportive, honest, genuine, and helpful. Above all else, a ‘one of a kind’ people. I am extremely grateful, consider your thoughts, and think of you, often. Kudos to you (un-link-able) here! Many Thanks.

In closing, I can only hope to inspire you all as incredibly much as you have me.
Love you Long time!

Pssst…This was such an amazing idea Shaun! Thank You! Remember to follow his adventures while “Looking for Reasoning To A Complicated World”

be you

20130628-170328.jpg

Just a quick reminder of inspiration to my WP friends, before we start out on our Canadian Canada Day long Weekend celebrations:

“be you”

During the times in our lives when we’re most interested in others and the world around us, we can be lead to disbelieve in our own powers, for whatever reason. I am guilty of constantly comparing my self to others blog writers, and guilty of not giving my-SELF, enough credit.

I am who I am.
I have been through many of my life’s own unique personal experiences, that have created me, as I am. Today.

Chose to “be you”, embrace you, remember you, and be confident in each and every little piece, that makes you. You are whole. You are unique. You are allowed to “be you”.

Blessed Weekends, to All of my friends, WP Family, and followers,

JayNine xox

and WE

If there was any one way I had to sum up my entire life’s parenting experiences, this quote would be it.

Many discussions, disturbances, disagreements, and progress have been encountered this week amongst myself and those in our lives, surrounding my 4 year olds ‘development’. Each time I practice an idea, tip, or advice sourced from other parents (on line or our circle) I find myself learning more than teaching. I have said in the 4 years, especially:
My Children are the Teachers, and I, their Student.”

20130616-082615.jpgimage

I have tried and succeeded, failed, tried again, failed, succeeded, at becoming the parent my children could love and especially look up to. Endless efforts have always been in place in my life, to parent without raising my voice. For the most part, I could go about 2-3 weeks of success. Something inside me could not let go of the parenting character defects, that have plagued from from the beginning of time.

Basically, I grew tired of hearing the sound of my own voice (I still do somedays lol) and I found this life changing challenge from another (truly inspiring Mommy) Blog. My master volume button has been set to ‘LOW’. Somedays, Slowly. Finally. For today. ‘One Day at A Time‘ I face this personal endeavor, with the reverence, willingness, and loyalty of the most dedicated Christian disciples (let’s say)…(Here is the scoop for parents looking for help with their parenting skills, or just to share your support here, for this community challenge)

20130616-084243.jpg
everything is going to be ok

Sending you all prayers of blessings, enjoyment, and life’s best, this day and everyday.
Happy Weekend,
Jeanine H, and Girlz ;)
