this is for Maile, pass it on…

I have been following this Christian Mom for some time now. Jamie Wright, on her site
the Very Worst Missionary in Costa Rica California.

There is no time like the present to offer you a look into her world, and what her on line (and surrounding) community are doing, to take action up against slavery, human-trafficking, and the sex trade; extremely alive in ‘a certain area‘ of South East Asia. (*You will have to read the full posts for explanations of quotations.)

First, if you’re not sure about visiting Jamie the very worst missionary mom and (active) christian soldier; here is a sneak peek into her very lively world. From Jamie’s about post:

I’m about procrastinating.

I’m not about administrating. I can’t even handle my own inbox. It’s embarrassing.

I’m about loving my husband and sons. I wish I was way, WAY better about this.

I’m about organic discipleship. The kind that happens naturally. Although, I usually just call it… ya know… friendship.

I’m about strippers, and crack-whores, and spreading Jesus faster than herpes.

I’m not about Klout. Or Alexa. Or Analytics. Or any of the other false measures that tempt us into thinking we’re more significant than anyone else. (This is the internet, people. Easy come, easy go.)

I’m about coffee.

Jamie the Very Worst Missionary in Costa Rica California
I originally sourced her space through one of my blogger friends here on WordPress

…Let’s share with EACH of YOUR WP Friends and Followers:  what the Very Worst Missionary is up to now!

Follow these links to a very serious Christian Mom and her shared experience in witnessing a small piece of the darkness in the human-trafficking, sex slave, sex trade underground world. Please, then read the post where Jamie offers you to join her in this serious way of exposing this darkness with much light. Through utilizing strength in numbers, and the Light of The World, our shared Lord God.

NOT here at Jamie’s the Very Worst Missionary in Costa Rica California

I have had the most difficult time even putting that into words. I have not slept right since reading Jamie’s first post.

I have not looked at my daughters the same.

I have thought of your very daughters and sons, considering them as my own since.

I have not slept, with the sickness and darkness these children, these babies over seas face.

It is an injustice.

This is Jamie’s BIG ASK for you to join forces in the ‘Light’

Yes there are many more organizations than The Exodus Road but this is Jamie’s choice.

Source them out! Go join, get active. Tell me about it!

I will have a list of Canadian sources I will share with you as I put the list together and will share asap.

You must read Jamie’s Blog, where you can read her words for yourself. If you need guidance, long for acceptance, and real truths amungst your Christian communities. This is the Real Deal. Get your belt on and travel over to see the likes of what Jamie discovered in the underground sex-trade world of Human-Trafficking plaguing (this area of) South East Asia.

***********************

In my own experience :
Mrs. Jamie is a gorgeous, married, bad-ass Mom of 3 boys; all pretty well teens. She is a Christian, her husband and herself leaders amungst their church community. Jamie takes womens retreats with her church groups and turns them into sitcoms. LOL. She takes the bible, religion, God, and all of the teachings and shares her personal experience with each; in her own divine special way. In reading her blog, you will either agree with her or not. Either way, she will still preform the WORK, God has set in front of her to do. Regardless if she goes ‘kicking and screaming’ or not lol.

I know only a few Christian Moms whom share their relationships and experiences with God to the public; with such exquisite talented expression, inexplicable strength, inspiration, unmovable belief, and EXTREME FAITH. We’re taking about FAITH WITH WORKS. Not just ‘faith’. We’re talking real life christian soldiers, talking faith, walking faith, and moving mountains with each single share of their words, filled with absolute reverence for God. Linking hands with the destitute, abandoned, misfits, hookers, and what others would consider the hopeless of each of our own communities.

“FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD!”

Join Jamie’s fight here for freedom of children these little daughters of Moms and Sons of man, from the prisons within their circumstances; which would only not rip your heart alive if you were not human.

Please, visit Jamie on all her social media today to find out how you can help more.

“This…is for Maile…”
Pass it on…

*you’ll understand the quotes if you read Jamies posts
numbered below:

FAITH (FOOD) FOR THOUGHT:

What an opportunity to take a look at our own faith!! ;)

Is your faith alive and working? Did you know that ‘Faith Without Works is Dead’? What does that mean to you?

What (christian) organizations do you and your family work within?

I have dedicated a small part of our fixed budget to this organization. Would you? I will be also sharing and sharing throughout all of my social media places for the word to spread like herpes lol as Jamie refers to the quickness of sharing about Jesus with this world! Will you join me? Will you talk about God? Jesus?

Do you talk about God? Do you talk about Jesus? Do you only talk to God/Jesus when YOU are in NEED? What do you ask for from The Lord?

Do you hide you Christian faith in front of co-workers? How do you respond when asked if you believe in God? Do you shun away from answering the question in fear of non-believers prosecution?

Your Wordpress Family Award

Time for a simple fresh “WordPress Award”. A blogger buddy of mine here on WordPress, has appointed me as a receiver of this little award, with big meaning. “The WordPress Family Award” A badge, photo, title, position, I have been gifted; and honorably accept, to forward and ‘appoint-nominate’ you!

Introduce you the Creator and the award nominator: “Praying For One Day” is a blog by (About) Shaun who posts about his daily struggles with his normal life, followed around by his 2nd shadow, chronic pain. STILL, he’s a very present Father of 4 beautifully different children. Shaun offers us a glimpse into his world, his space, sense of humor, candor, trials, tribulations, lessons and successes. I find his posts, witty, interesting, some down right funny, heart-felt, purely honest; and definitely inspirational and encouraging. We each comment words of support, on each others posts and even when we’re not, I know he’s there.

20130630-095344.jpg

The essence of the WordPress Family Award, is just that:
*FAMILY*
I know I can count on Shaun, and the people, behind the blogs I am about to list, as I can count on like my own family. I can even count on (and appreciate) some folks here, than some of my ‘real’ family members. WordPress, it’s bloggers, my follows, followers; and even the random comment-er have and can, lift my spirits, encourage me to go forward, inspire me to create, to understand, encourage me, teach me; to laugh, alot, to shift my (messed up contorted and twisted) perception, lighten my heart, my load; and help me continue to fight through the toughest of times (and circumstances)!

Go Ahead! It’s simple!
Here’s What To Do.

1. Display the Award logo on your blog.
2. Link back to the person who nominated you.
3. Nominate 10 others you see as
having an impact on your wordpress experience and family.
4. Let your 10 Family members know you have awarded them.
5. That is it. Just please pick 10 people that have taken
you as a friend, and spread the love.

Drum roll please * * * MY “WordPress Family Award” Members Are: (in random order)

1. ‘Fascinations of a Vanilla Housewife’ strength, support, honesty, and a sister in the
Orange Rhino Challenge

2. Mrs. Sandra, at ‘The Adored Home’ inspirational in decor, diy-er; an incredibly wonderful mother! The blogger to nominate me for my very first award!

3. ‘the DisSocial Mom’ if we knew each other in real life, she’d be my BFF!

4. ‘Mummy Flying Solo’ the very first find of a ‘single’ mother blog here on WordPress! Supportive, encouraging, and very understanding, bright blogger.

5. ‘IHaveAnOpinionIdLikeToShare’ a candid look into the truths that some are afraid to share (some seem straight from my brain!) No One can hit the nail on the head, on the most serious and difficult to say words, on any topic; and with more skillfully, funny, honest, precise, expressions. I long to write as clearly as this woman does!

6. ‘The Adventures of Miss Fanny P’ talented writer, mommy, supportive, honest; also a part of the
Orange Rhino Challenge

7. SistaSertraline of ‘Phoenix Flights’ because, she knows who she is. Plus, shes a talented writer and a real person.

8. ‘Cranky Caregiver’ because,EVERYONE needs a ‘Granny’ in life!
I love this one!

9. ‘White Lady in the Hood’ well, you can just imagine the humor from this child-expert, blogger, inspirational laughter; just from the title of her blog lmao

10. ‘Normal is the New Boring’ Fantastic Mommy with a preemie, their trials, successes, and honest shares about their experiences in life now.

Through the communications I have had with the people behind these blogs, I feel I have created a family here. A support system that can be relied on! I have experiences on many other blogs, blog hosts, social media places, (click here to find me, literally everywhere) but, the audience quality here is just different. I get a sense of belonging, fitting in, acceptance, empathy, understanding, and family here. If I had the perfect family out here, it would include each and ever one of you, above. You all have a special place in my thoughts and heart.

And, just another mention to the wonderful ‘random (supportive) commenters’ : I haven’t experienced on the net responses quite like yours. Supportive, honest, genuine, and helpful. Above all else, a ‘one of a kind’ people. I am extremely grateful, consider your thoughts, and think of you, often. Kudos to you (un-link-able) here! Many Thanks.

In closing, I can only hope to inspire you all as incredibly much as you have me.
Love you Long time!

JayNine xo
Pssst…This was such an amazing idea Shaun! Thank You! Remember to follow his adventures while “Looking for Reasoning To A Complicated World”

Bikes and Puddles

No signs of life in our neighbourhood.
The odd car passing.
A person heard coughing, here and there.
A distant car door shut.
I know there’s sounds of life somewhere in the distance…
It’s just not here…it’s silent,
on our child-filled street?

Why?

Because it rained?! And, besides, there’s still clouds in the sky!?

SO?

Didn’t you like to run, jump, splatter, splish and splash, or ride your bike through the huge puddles after the rain? Watch the back wheel create large waves of dirty water stains up your back? WOO HOO! RIGHT? The fear of the ‘impending doom’ riding next to the far off thunder sounds, a screech with each lightening bolt ‘over there’ once the storms passed? Remember the absolute freedom of bike riding? The inner sense of enormous accomplishment and fearless puddle riding! Feel It!Feel that wind in your hair!

Why Not let Your children?

Why not Let your kids be kids?

Last night we were out riding bikes, making water splooshing videos on @Instagram, right after the rain.
TRUTH: we didn’t melt when it started to spit either! We jumped, ran, rode, played Swamp Monster games, chasing each other, in our running shoes, wet clothing, and we LIVED! We did it with no cell phone interruption, and one on one pretend role play! Me and the LO. AND, The carpet and the floor survived too, even when we came trudging water and dirt, laughing our heads off through the house, after 8pm at least! lol!

Funny, I started writing this post last night after rain play (too tired to finish); and woke to this Orange Rhino post entitled,
“If I Were A Kid” …

Yep, me and my 4 year old. Alone. Not a child in sight. We even watched one child wave from inside her porch (looking sadly, maybe wishing her mother would let her out in the rain to play)…

My question to you is Why Not? Why Not let them play in the rain? Why Not let them play After a rain? It’s thee best time to play outside and interact.

20130629-082606.jpg

20130629-082759.jpg

20130629-082835.jpg

We live directly across the street from an entire huge ‘complex’ of homes with neighbourhood children. Some dangerously silly: some of whom I scared away from the road for waving and yelling at passing strangers cars last week (that’s a whole other ‘stranger danger’ post maybe their parents should have read?)…but, they’re hiding from the porch during rain? Are they out of towels? We have lots of towels!
In fact, we even bring towels to the local family park after the rain!? Why Not? Why Not wipe down the slides, swings, monkey bars, right after that terrifying Rain Water, and Let Kids Be Kids?

Let me remind you Moms and Dads alike: You Were Kids Once!

All of the pesky annoying frustrating situations you put your parents through, You survived! Even They survived! Let them spill, smile, make a mess, jump in puddles, stain their clothes(perish the thought!) even the ‘name brand’ ones (if you go there–I don’t!) Look back at your own experiences in childhood. Remember the irresponsibility and the light heart; and freedoms that made you feel…Now, take YOUR children there.

Let us know what activities Your Parents didn’t agree with that You Did and now allow your children to do? Maybe let me know why they’re not allowed out to play in the rain? Share your fun stories you do differently that make other parents ‘wonder about you’ lol!
I know MY neighbourhood does! And Im ok with that!
