Link Day Friday

Now, for the links– I get excited when readers stop to click for a peek at these links;) More then just sharing the information, I have been following these sites and their curators for some time now. They’re part of my routine. Alot of them share even more blogger resources. Trust me, keep these on hand! I promise they will delight your inbox and are each creative, worthy reads. Whichever you chose here’s the best of late:

1). Sash, curator of Inked In Colour:

Outside of her blogs natural exterior beauty, Sash expresses herself passionately on issues important to her, and her readers.  As an Australian born woman she offers thought and conversational provoking view points with graceful assertiveness. As a Mother, she offers us an in-depth look into her experience in fostering creativity in children, plus her parenting and the ever so relatable piece containing bitter/sweet battles with child- ‘Weaning Hell‘! We Moms have all had some trouble with that at some point!

2).  Handmade Charolette

A site you may already be happily familiar with. Handmade Charolette is a web-collection full of blogging Mom’s providing inspiration for creative learning, and handmade DIY projects for children. The main focus by its creator, is on DIY Crafts & Design for Kids. Like them on their  Facebook Page for much more community communication, follow up photos, and further fun links.

3).  Discovered through Handmade Charolette’s contributors, was the  Natalia Kramer on her Google Plus Profile. Posts, photos, and links of her DIY craft projects. Kramers designs bring a child’s imagination to life, with designs jumping off the page!

4). Small for Big

…is where I found a valuable ABC’s Letter Playground idea link! Mari Richards‘ blog contains happy colors, and crafting DIY’s I just cannot explain in words. Her children’s toy finds beyond creatively unique.

Share your favorite creative kids activity, craft makers, DIY-ers, or your own link below.

We’re a busy little family this weekend. Maybe I’ll upload “One Shot, Two Ways” at some point again, when time;) Check out my Pinterest Boards for much more “pin-spiration”. Children’s World, DIY, and Land Of Etsy are full of useful information.

this is for Maile, pass it on…

I have been following this Christian Mom for some time now. Jamie Wright, on her site
the Very Worst Missionary in Costa Rica California.

There is no time like the present to offer you a look into her world, and what her on line (and surrounding) community are doing, to take action up against slavery, human-trafficking, and the sex trade; extremely alive in ‘a certain area‘ of South East Asia. (*You will have to read the full posts for explanations of quotations.)

First, if you’re not sure about visiting Jamie the very worst missionary mom and (active) christian soldier; here is a sneak peek into her very lively world. From Jamie’s about post:

I’m about procrastinating.

I’m not about administrating. I can’t even handle my own inbox. It’s embarrassing.

I’m about loving my husband and sons. I wish I was way, WAY better about this.

I’m about organic discipleship. The kind that happens naturally. Although, I usually just call it… ya know… friendship.

I’m about strippers, and crack-whores, and spreading Jesus faster than herpes.

I’m not about Klout. Or Alexa. Or Analytics. Or any of the other false measures that tempt us into thinking we’re more significant than anyone else. (This is the internet, people. Easy come, easy go.)

I’m about coffee.

Jamie the Very Worst Missionary in Costa Rica California
I originally sourced her space through one of my blogger friends here on WordPress

…Let’s share with EACH of YOUR WP Friends and Followers:  what the Very Worst Missionary is up to now!

Follow these links to a very serious Christian Mom and her shared experience in witnessing a small piece of the darkness in the human-trafficking, sex slave, sex trade underground world. Please, then read the post where Jamie offers you to join her in this serious way of exposing this darkness with much light. Through utilizing strength in numbers, and the Light of The World, our shared Lord God.

NOT here at Jamie’s the Very Worst Missionary in Costa Rica California

I have had the most difficult time even putting that into words. I have not slept right since reading Jamie’s first post.

I have not looked at my daughters the same.

I have thought of your very daughters and sons, considering them as my own since.

I have not slept, with the sickness and darkness these children, these babies over seas face.

It is an injustice.

This is Jamie’s BIG ASK for you to join forces in the ‘Light’

Yes there are many more organizations than The Exodus Road but this is Jamie’s choice.

Source them out! Go join, get active. Tell me about it!

I will have a list of Canadian sources I will share with you as I put the list together and will share asap.

You must read Jamie’s Blog, where you can read her words for yourself. If you need guidance, long for acceptance, and real truths amungst your Christian communities. This is the Real Deal. Get your belt on and travel over to see the likes of what Jamie discovered in the underground sex-trade world of Human-Trafficking plaguing (this area of) South East Asia.

***********************

In my own experience :
Mrs. Jamie is a gorgeous, married, bad-ass Mom of 3 boys; all pretty well teens. She is a Christian, her husband and herself leaders amungst their church community. Jamie takes womens retreats with her church groups and turns them into sitcoms. LOL. She takes the bible, religion, God, and all of the teachings and shares her personal experience with each; in her own divine special way. In reading her blog, you will either agree with her or not. Either way, she will still preform the WORK, God has set in front of her to do. Regardless if she goes ‘kicking and screaming’ or not lol.

I know only a few Christian Moms whom share their relationships and experiences with God to the public; with such exquisite talented expression, inexplicable strength, inspiration, unmovable belief, and EXTREME FAITH. We’re taking about FAITH WITH WORKS. Not just ‘faith’. We’re talking real life christian soldiers, talking faith, walking faith, and moving mountains with each single share of their words, filled with absolute reverence for God. Linking hands with the destitute, abandoned, misfits, hookers, and what others would consider the hopeless of each of our own communities.

“FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD!”

Join Jamie’s fight here for freedom of children these little daughters of Moms and Sons of man, from the prisons within their circumstances; which would only not rip your heart alive if you were not human.

Please, visit Jamie on all her social media today to find out how you can help more.

“This…is for Maile…”
Pass it on…

*you’ll understand the quotes if you read Jamies posts
numbered below:

FAITH (FOOD) FOR THOUGHT:

What an opportunity to take a look at our own faith!! ;)

Is your faith alive and working? Did you know that ‘Faith Without Works is Dead’? What does that mean to you?

What (christian) organizations do you and your family work within?

I have dedicated a small part of our fixed budget to this organization. Would you? I will be also sharing and sharing throughout all of my social media places for the word to spread like herpes lol as Jamie refers to the quickness of sharing about Jesus with this world! Will you join me? Will you talk about God? Jesus?

Do you talk about God? Do you talk about Jesus? Do you only talk to God/Jesus when YOU are in NEED? What do you ask for from The Lord?

Do you hide you Christian faith in front of co-workers? How do you respond when asked if you believe in God? Do you shun away from answering the question in fear of non-believers prosecution?

Dawn of a New Day

20130329-070952.jpg

So, I’ve been taking this Anxiety And Stress (minimizing) Course through my local Doctors Office… On the other side of the fence, I’ve been viciously fighting with my neighbour.

Ok, first maybe understand this: my type of personality unless I’m offended right off the bat, is one that has to be pushed–I warn–pushed–I warn again; and so on until you offend my children and then, well, I snap!

Neighbour and I have surpassed the snap stage and its turned into a tit for tat full out rivalry! Shes put my dogs poop bags into my mail box, I opened her important mail to let the rain soak it; and so on an so on…even further back, I AM NOT THIS TYPE of PERSON! At all! Only my ex-could get me so upset to accidentally drop a tooth brush in cat dropping box, and yes, you guessed it, put it back! NEVER my neighbours. We always make friends and we WERE–until she crossed the line and involved my children. End of friendship, period.

Back to class, I have been understanding, participating, sharing and taking my inventory, the ways they have taught us but, I have been holding back this rivalry. Like I am ashamed or don’t want to be found out. At 330am I was awoken out of my bed by the usual stomping above, I messaged her to ‘please be quiet’. See, still I try. Her response was “please f/&; off” and banged her heavy foot on our home ceiling. I immediately went upstairs and it turned into an obvious confrontation. Again.
Then, I realized AFTER all our shouting an her stomping, the kids were still sound asleep. I thought about WHO REALLY had been harmed during this time?
Her. And, I.
That was the consistent factor when I thought about our fights–its her & I whom are getting hurt.

Look, if the Lord has taught my big mouth anything, its how to FORGIVE. (Not forget). And as I sat, I continued to purge through the anger in my head with God; I asked how to stop this from happening anymore? The stress of it is causing us both further physical emotional upset, these are our homes and we need PEACE–no matter WHO’s right or wrong. I thought about the outline in my homework from my course and went through my colomns of behaviours–got to the last column where it asks What Should You Do differently; the answer came:

Immediately, I sent her a message asking her to meet me in the lobby and she did. I set my Pride to the side, all the anger, frustration, and hardest the fact that I am in the ‘right’ and, she has hurt me more–aside; and I apologized first. It has freed me from much upset, it feels much better to have the air feeling lighter, and my heart as well. all of us have an ego. all of us. The ego I believe is the human condition. With much consistent work, and dedication to your spirit and relationship with the Lord, it can be at least well, tamed.

The Dawn of my New Day started my morning in an act of responsibility and integrity with Jesus.
I use the word ‘Act’ because there is a difference between saying, thinking, writing, and actually taking action on a thought, to change your own behaviors.
How have you started your day with the Lord?
(Hopefully YOU had no neighbours jumping on your head;)! Lol!

If this is all I get to post this Easter weekend–have a safe and blessed holiday,
Jaynine and

Peacock Alley’s Dignified Dwellings

This post is from my love for interior design side! I have past experience in interior design, house keeping, home staging, and had my own green cleaning home care company, for seven years; up until having my last child. In the meantime, I spend more of my decor days in our new home, at the second hand stores repurposing the sweetest findings lol!

A fine luxury home decor store that I absolutely adore is ‘Peacock Alley’. Providing delectable colored and texturized bedding and more, they’ve recently teamed up with another interior design service. This one is a little different from the norm as it provides needy selected families, with decor of the highest quality for their personal comfort, in their home! This is my first time hearing of this type of charity and wanted to share it with you all. Dwell In Dignity is a company which assists choice families with an inspiring home interior, provided by their donators, with a home environment they can thrive and feel encouraged in.
I felt inspired to share this with you, just from reading Peacock Alley & Dwell’s Reveal Post on the last home design they provided!
The other news is that Peacock Alley has their blog hosted here, with us, on WordPress!

Take a click and a look, on their link above, for a daydream moment with me…ahhh…heavenly sheet counts…until tomorrow,

What’s your favorite luxury home furnishings online store you’d love to spend a day shopping in?
